Architects Recognised at Fiji’s Premier Design Awards

1 Dec 2024

Celebrating Excellence in Sustainable, Innovative, and Community-Driven Architecture Across Fiji

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Professor Biman Prasad, delivered a powerful message at the Fiji Architects Awards—held at Suva Museum—highlighting that architecture transcends mere structures. It is, he said, about "crafting environments that enhance our quality of life, safeguard our communities, and reflect our aspirations."  He underscored the pivotal role architects play in advancing the Fiji National Development Plan 2025–2029 and Vision 2050, emphasizing the nation’s reliance on creativity, innovation, and sustainable design to build economic resilience, social wellbeing, and environmental protection.
